very disappointed with how loud the stove is when the oven is on, it is not a convection stove.my previous stove was convection and was not as loud as this onei do like the looks of the stove.

Won't shut off

Cooktop stains after only a couple of uses. More importantly after using oven it refuses to turn off. I have to kill the breaker until it cools off and then turn on with breaker and reset clock. I am a bachelor and only need this oven to make hamburgers and cook pizza and it can't even do that without malfunctioning. I have only had it 2 months and have made only 3 pizzas since purchase. Now best buy won't take it back. I hope Frigidaire gives me a new one and not send repairman out.

A few problems, not bad overall

We are generally pleased with the range and the fast heating up of the left two-tier burner; we wish the right large burner also had two distinct areas of burner heat, especially since it is larger than any skillet we currently possess. Also, we were annoyed last night by the buzz that comes when the oven goes on, although we had not noticed any buzz when we first turned the oven on.

The burners are very powerful and cook fast. The fifth warmer element is still under review. The knob has large range of temps but the element doesn™€™t cook like the others - hence I guess warming zone title.

I have had this range about 2 years give or take and have hated it from the start. I decided to look to see if there was a recall today. I cant believe there isn't. The oven gets much hotter than what you set it at so you have to set itb50 degrees below what you normally wood. I bought this because I liked how it looked. The knobs on the front turnbon easily if you rub up against it, be careful.

Be careful if you ever take the door off. We were trying to level the range and took the door off so we could better lift and when putting it back on the latch spring came back and nearly took off my finger. Bad cut. This is not safe.

The oven door latch is extremely dangerous. The range is higher than normal counter tops. Over all it is technically under par.

Ours is a beautiful range in gloss black. The knows are facing front and have red markers that stand out. Very good looking. There are however things one should know before you buy. It does not hang but is a true slide in, so your opening must be perfect to avoid gaps. Ours also stuck out several inches too far and the crew had to take out the cross bar in rear of opening. There is still a 1/4 inch gap in back but it is not a problem for us.

Love my new stove. I ordered it in black. Love the fact that the finish is enamel, will wear better than black stainless with less scratching. Stove looks sleek, love the black glass top, so easy to clean with stove glass top cleaner, looks so shiny afterwards. Love the one touch self cleaning oven. My previous stove was gas, transitioned back to electric. My old stove also said it was self cleaning, but it used water in the bottom to supposedly clean and was worthless. I hated it. Having controls in front was very important to me as getting older (69) and not as easy to reach over stove. I am very happy with my stove. Fellow at store where we bought it said Frigidaire makes some of the best stoves on the market today, and to look at other brands, I would be going from excellent to mediocre. Am very happy with purchase

Noisy

Sadly, I am not terribly satisfied. When I first tried the oven, there was a terrible leak or melt spot that appeared on the bottom of the oven. And yes, all the wrapping for everything was removed. I had to wait two weeks for a repairman to come from the company where I bought it to replace the two racks and bottom "plate" of the oven. Also, when the is very noisy when it is on. Makes an unusual humming/buzzing sound. Doesn't sound like a quality oven. :/ Oh well...I guess that's what I get for choosing the cheapest available on the floor.

I really like my new stove. The black is great for not showing fingerprints and smudges. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the finish is rubbing off too soon. Within a few weeks you could see where the finish on the plastic front was coming off due to use. I wouldn't expect this to happen until years later. It takes away from the appearance of the appliance and hope it doesn't get worse. Just don't drag your pans across the top plastic piece where the knobs are located.

My new range was delivered on March 1, 2022. I have not yet used all the features but did test to make sure everything was in working order and it was. The slide in ranges which I had to order for my space are considerably more expensive than a free standing range. My first reaction was the range was very nice looking but the knobs on the front did not compliment the overall look of the range - they look cheap. Also the range does not have a gap protector. I ordered one online but it really makes the range look cheap and I definitely do not like the look. This is my first solid surface top and after reading the directions, I'm trying not to freak out about what I can and cannot use on it and how to clean it. I guess time will tell. But again overall, for the most part, I like the range and after not having an oven for over a year, I'm looking forward to baking something!
