I really like our new induction stove. Not only is it energy efficient, it does cook food faster. That's the rub! It takes getting use to on turn on the burners, knowing which number works best - we did burn a few things. The oven is easy to use but again I overcooked somethings and undercooked or baked others. But overall it's a learning curve. Once we've mastered this the range works really well. We went from gas to electric (we have solar panels) so be aware of the cost if you have gas of shuttiing off the gas and installing a line. But again the offset for electric will eventually pay for itself

We wanted to switch from propane to electric and this is a nice transition range. Unfortunately one of the first oven bake item I cooked overflowed and I had burnt sugar on the bottom of the oven. I used the steam clean and it helped a little but it wasn't easy. Learned my lesson and will use a drip pan on the bottom oven shelf. Used the power setting on the top burner and had boiling water almost instantly. Nice

I really like this range. Induction works as it's supposed to. Just wish it had a lock on the screen when not in use, because if you lean over it, it presses buttons. It could also use a bigger element for xl stock pots.

I used to have induction stove (GE profile) for over 10 years, finally it died. Probably I could fix it, but it is hard find technician and they are all overpriced. easier to by a new stove.I Choose FA mostly because of the price it is about $600 cheaper than the one I had. I lost some of the features in the oven such as slow cook and timer. Those were used, some others I don't care much about. Timer FA has is useless. GE shuts down the oven when time runs out FA does not. I gained Air fry option and tried it already. It works pretty well. Overall it seems that FA stove is more powerful in comparison to FE it heats water faster. I also liked auto sizing of the elements. things I don't like GE stove cooktop was sticking out and was sliding over the counters, FA has a small gap. FA does not go tight against the wall so I got gap there as well and it is sticking out in front of the counters. It is lower than standard countertop. GE and FA have more less same dimensions, but I don't understand why storage on the bottom and oven is significantly smaller in volume (oven depth is about 1.5 inches smaller). bottom drawer is for storage only, can't be used to keep things warm.Will see how this stove will last for long run. I hope it will be a live in 10 years.

Bakes well, on regular and convection settings. Burners on top heat very quickly and adjust temp quickly too. Best perk: much less heat in the kitchen. Our kitchen is small, so this less heat is really nice. A very good stove.

I™€™m impressed with the power boost option on the stovetop: man, it can boil water SO fast! It™€™s a pretty machine! Baking is great. I have a gripe with the front control panel however: every time I lean in to stir a pot or reach over to the microwave, I end up accidentally turning on the oven. Or turning off a pot or pan that I had going. I™€™m actually trying to think of a way to cover the control panel. In my mind it™€™s a design flaw. It wasn™€™t properly tested in real life before going to production. :(

Induction range

I've always had a gas range. I liked the visibility of the flame and how the temp could be easily regulated. I recently had solar panels installed and in order to do what I can to help the environment,I decided to get a induction range and I could not be happier! It's a very attractive appliance and looks great in my new kitchen and it's environmentally friendly, Keeping the stovetop is easy and it cooks like a gas range. The oven is basically convection regardless of the convection setting, which is also new to me but it bakes and roasts beautifully. I haven't tried the air fry feature yet as I need to order the tray required to perform air frying.

I love the cooktop. It heats up nicely and is easy to clean. I am still trying to l figure out my oven. The quick breads and brownies I made did not cook evenly through out with either the convection or regular bake settings.

My wife and I are enjoying our new induction range. Water boils quickly and the rangetop cooks food evenly. Much to our dismay, none of our old pots and pans are able to be used. I wish there would be more of a disclosure, warning, potential buyers that they will need to purchase new pots and pans.

We really loved all the aspects of the induction range. It airfries and bakes perfectly. The cooktop was splendid (until it stopped working) heating up a frying pan from cold to sizzling in under 15 seconds.

Induction cooking is a new way of cooking that is unbelievable in itself. First of all the heat is almost solely in the pot or pan you are cooking food or boiling water in. Lower settings to the burners are necessary because the heat is directly focused on the pot or pan and not just rising up from the surface of the stove into the kitchen.

In general, there are lots of videos showing how fast induction burners can boil water, but we've found that another benefit is how nicely they can sear a steak.Specific to this unit are the front mounted controls. The unit is "freestanding" (finished sides), but the low back gives us the chance to (1) see our granite backsplash, and (2) allows us to hang cooking utensils above the stove.Other than adjusting to the speed with which pots and pans come up to temperature, use of the cooktop has been remarkably similar to other stoves where you essentially dial up and down to increase or decrease heat.Cleaning the glass has been a whole new experience. A damp paper towel and / or a little glass cleaner has done the job. The surface just doesn't get hot enough to burn spillovers. And yes, the burner area can be wiped immediately when a spillover occurs.Another benefit that we discovered was the speed with which the oven preheats. While the oven uses legacy heating technology, it seems to come to temperature in about half the time of the oven that it replaced.The only drawback is that the unit didn't come with the Air Fry basket, so I'm giving four stars instead of five. I wound up ordering one separately from Frigidaire, but should have waited as Frigidaire sent an email offering a discount on the basket (but unfortunately, this was after I had ordered and received the one that I had ordered).

Certainly, a big leap forward with an induction heating! Fast, responsive temperature control. Must change all of your cookware to be magnetic, however. The controls have beeps that a re bit annoying and to set a desired temp, one needs to first turn the heater on and then scroll either up or down to toggle between low and Hi (or P) modes. An instant setting would be better.

I don't like the buzzing sound it MUST do. I thought not having knobs would be beneficial when it comes to safety for my grandkids and elderly mother. The buttons for the "stove", turn on while I'm leaning cleaning stove top, while other four can't turn on as easily??Boiling, heating up soup, sauce....it's immediate!

I think this is a great stove. I love it but have 1 complaint which makes it not get 5 stars. When you push the buttons they beep. There is a silent mode so that when you push the buttons they do not beep. however, when silent mode is on, the timer does not make a noise when it goes off. This is an oversight and the reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5.

Induction cooktop is fast but does make a buzzing noise on highest setting, although this is not for long and gets the pan heated quickly. Oven fan runs on a different pattern than our last stove too but again works well. Happy with our new stove.

This brand new induction range was broken after only 7 days of use. I am very disappointed. I have to wait for 7 days for the repair. This is the only appliance that I have ever bought in my life time had this problem. My previous refridge, freezer, washer, dryer, electric range, and induction range all lasted more than 10 years without any issues.

I have only had the unit about two weeks, and so far I can say I love the induction cooktop portion. It boils water and heat so much fast than my previous glass top. The oven is still on probation. It has been used a handful of time so far, but still emits an awful smell as if it is the first time use.

Excellent Range - Read the Manual

After doing a lot of research and reading many reviews, we decided this induction range was for us. First, I will say, read the manual. There were some complaints of loud buzzing coming from the burners but we only experience a mild buzzing. The manual says that heavy pots reduce this buzzing sound so we bought heavy stainless steel cookware and have no problems. The cooktop is so easy to keep clean with soap and water and a mild cooktop creme. I love that there aren™€™t any knobs but you do have to be careful leaning up against the stove as you may turn the oven on. However, it beeps so you are aware. The oven works great; just takes a few minutes longer to preheat than my previous oven. I have also used the air fry feature as directed in the manual. We bought the air fry basket rack that Frigidaire recommends ( by them) and placed the rack in the 4th rack position as stated. The vegetables cooking came out perfect and there was no smoking at all. I have to say I enjoy the cooktop most. Water boils so fast and when you turn the heat down it almost instant. Cooking and clean up is a pleasure, and as we have young grandchildren we feel more comfortable with the safer induction cooktop. We love this range so much we bought the matching microwave!

I am very happy with my new range. Cooking on it is similar to cooking on a gas range. The oven works great. I baked cookies and put two trays in at once on different racks and both trays came out the same. I could not do that with my old electric oven.

This is our 2nd time owning Frigidaire Gallery appliances. We liked the 1st set so much we are buying a 2nd set for a different home during a kitchen remodel. The convection works great and the air fryer is a nice addition to the induction cooktop. Definitely worth the extra money to have all 3 of these cooking methods in one place. We are just as pleased with the French door refrigerator with lower freezer and middle drawer that can be used as a refrigerator or freezer. We will round out our appliances for the remodel with a microwave and dishwasher. Highly recommend Frigidaire Gallery series.

The oven doesn™€™t keep temp. And it absolutely does not cook evenly, no matter what setting you use. This was the worst purchase. I previously had an Electrolux induction range with convection oven and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately this Frigidaire was recommended as an even trade compared to what we had since Electrolux wasn™€™t available at the time. I™€™d rather be cooking with my slowly dying Electrolux than this range. The cook top doesn™€™t react as fast and takes longer to boil.

Amazing stove

I've had induction cooktops and ranges before. This one works as well as the more expensive ones but it doesn't have the controls on the stovetop glass. At first you'd think this is a negative but having the controls on the cooktop is a terrible design. If a pan or a drop of water splashes onto the controls then everything turns off. Also this has the good old fashioned oven cleaning setting. Several manufacturers have touted their "steam clean feature". This doesn't work. I like the option to nuke everything into gray ash. It works great and doesn't require any caustic sprays. I'd recommend this stove over the more expensive competitors. Their markup does give you a better product. Just ask the Kit@&%*naid that burst into flames for no reason. :(

Induction is a huge improvement over electric. I can't believe how quickly this thing can boil water; full pot at a rolling boil in under 2 minutes. The air fryer feature is great and I was able to get rid of one small appliance off my counter thanks to this.

We have had numerous problems from warped induction burners, off center burners, broiler going on instead of bake element, not being able to hold temperature in oven, burning food in front part of oven, etc. They have replaced the computer parts 2 times, bake element and broiler element, induction burners, and still having the same problems. It is one year old and the warranty company refunded the purchase price because after 6 times they are unable to fix the stove. Terrible quality!

Control Panel Failure

It took almost 3 months for the range to be delivered. 3 days after delivery of our range, it began beeping and displaying F05 error code. 2 weeks later, a replacement control panel arrived and was installed by the retailer.Given the limited time we have been able to use the range, a full review is not possible. The induction cooktop is incredible. Water for oatmeal boils in seconds. 6 qts of water began boiling in under 10 minutes. Cleanup is easy.Hopefully, our delays and disappointments are behind us and we can get back to cooking.

so far, after a few days, I do like the range...the only reason for 4 stars is that the range didnt come with air fry tray and when trying to find the readycook 16" baking pan, even the Frigidaire website says "no longer available".

It took me weeks to decide on this range. I looked at numerous similar ranges and reviews. I™€™m so glad I picked this one. I bought it primarily for the induction cooktop. It™€™s unbelievable how fast it cooks and no baked on mess like with my other electric glass cooktop. I have used the oven a few times and it™€™s working great but I™€™m most pleased with the induction cooktop. I™€™ll never go back to gas or standard electric.

I like that it senses the size of the pots. You can use smaller pots on larger burners easily. It is very versatile cooktop. Oven works well also.

We love the AirFry function and the range pre-hears very fast. The induction cooktop lives up to the hype with lightning fast ore-heating and precise temperature control. The only quibble we have is with the front panel touch controls for the burners. Very finicky.

This is a great range, except for the design of the control panel. Because of the mostly vertical placement of the control panel it is much too easy to lean against it and accidentally push buttons. They have no way to lock the controls either, in case you have kids. My recommendation to them is to change the angle the panel is on to more horizontal and add a lock for controls.
