Beautiful Cooktop

Pros:Looks really nice on my black granite countertops. It fit perfectly without having to alter the countertops (replaced another cooktop.) Knobs are backlit so you know they are on. Large burners boil water quickly. Love the cast iron grates. It cleans up easily.Cons:Everything spots/stains the stainless steel surface, including plain water, I haven™€™t found anything to remove the stains. The rubber feet on the grates are already breaking off with no way to replace them. Super glued them back on. The grates must have the rubber feet (they sit in little wells.) Without them the grates will scratch the cooking surface and they help keep the grates in place.I like how the cooktop cooks but I don™€™t think I would buy this again.

The Frigidaire 30" Gallary Gas Cooktop is even better in person. It's a beefy piece of equipment. It's also easy to install, with quick instructions. The cooktop is made well and it's easy to clean.

Our GE profile kitchen appliances needed an update, and this Frigidaire cooktop is stealing the show. With a 30 in. space limitation, this 5-burner feels quite larger than it is since the crates go end to end lengthwise. It's super sturdy and looks like a professional range with a ton of heat coming from every burner. We love the way it looks and the way it cooks.

I just got my stovetop and so far I love it. The best feature is the cast iron racks. It is all level and makes it easy to move pots and lay a cover down.I have been searching for a long time for a new stovetop and so far this one has ticked off all the need and want boxes.

Product arrived in dirty condition. No visible signs of package damage. Cooktop grate had visible dirt and grime. Cooktop also dirty with smudge marks which looked to be some kind of grease or lubricant.

Awesome stove

When I moved into my new home a momth ago I knew that the house would need some updates. Little did I know that the existing stove would give out within a week. After spending a day online comparing stoves I came to the conclusion that the Frigidaire stove would more than meet my needs. So I ordered it. It was easy to install. Cooking with it is phenomenal. The double ovens will be next to go and be replaces with Frigidaires.

Burning my cupboards. Paint peeling off from heat. Over the cooktop microwave gets too hot to touch when using cooktop. Had Frigidaire tech out and all he said was it was installed wrong. But he couldn™€™t tell me how to install it correctly or fix the problem.

I like the cooktop. The cast iron grids are quite heavy and makes cleaning more difficult. They have a high profile as well. Sturdy but cumbersome. The performance of the burners is very good.

Very nice cooktop, compared to the bargain priced one my wife initially picked. I would not have thought you could get 5 burners on a 30™€ cooktop. Burners do an excellent job for each size and the grates are well designed. Very pleased

We recently had our old 4 burner range start breaking down and went looking for a replacement. The Wife loved the look and the solid grates are fantastic and a great upgrade from the old ones we had that started to bend. The orientation of the burners gives us more space with 5 burners than we had with 4 and super simple and easy install.

We picked it up on Monday, put it on on Tuesday. We had black cooktop for the last 22 years. Went with stainless steel on this new one. The black grates really set the stove off. We just have to get used to the different look. I put it in myself and was easy to do. It fit the previous cut out perfectly. Just got a new gas line and presto, turned it on. Really like how fast the water boils.

This stovetop replaced a 12 year old Kenmore Elite that had an igniter that was not working properly. It™€™s so much better! The large burner quickly heats water to boil, the small burner is just enough for a simmer. The grates are higher than my last one but even with the above stove microwave/vent, even my large stock pot fits. The grates are very heavy but they don™€™t move around if you have a heavy pot that needs to be slid to the front. I love it!

A "Bigger" 30 Inches

The shape of the grate provides more room than a traditional 30" cooktop. The 5th burner is nice. The backlight around the knobs makes them easier to see AND verify which knob corresponds to your burner. :)

Fabulous cooktop

I had been an advid whirlpool owner for years but was just never completely satisfied. I finally decided to take a chance on another brand and I was completely blown away. Not only was there a much better use of surface area considering it is a 30" cooktop, but the amount of time needed to boil a large pot of water has been greatly reduced. I'm not talking about a 5 ot 10 minute difference...I'm talking about a 20-30 minute difference for large pots of water. It's easier to clean, I'm able to cook with more pots than my other cooktop, and it's easier to control the heat setting no matter if I'm trying to simmer something or rapid boil something. I'm beyond thrilled with what I purchased! No Regrets!

Wow! I love the lights under the heavy, accurate, very attractive steel knobs which let folks know they've left a burner on--especially when the flame is so low it's almost invisible. The arrangement of the three large grills and jets provide far superior control and rapid heating than the unit our new cooktop replaced, saving both gas and time. And it looks fantastic!

We have not had a gas appliance in any of our homes and decided to install gas during our recent kitchen remodel. I chose this top because of its features and multiple burners and top BTU output. My wife loves it!!!!! Would highly recommend.

The grates are extremely heavy and you cannot remove the either side grate without first removing the center in order to clean the cooktop.

I didnt realize how bad my old cooktop was until I got this new one. I love the different size burners and I am having to learn to cook all over because of the speed and efficiency. I love cooking with gas as you have so much more control.

I like the 5 burners with different levels of power. The middle burner boils water quickly. I like the grates being higher. But did have to get a different microwave hood because our existing one was too low and the burners activated the fan. The photo is with the old microwave.

I love the look and operation of this cooktop. The look of the thick iron grill with the lighted background on the knobs is very appealing. It complements the look of my kitchen nicely. I love that it has a "simmer burner". I have only cooked on it a few times but I know I am going to love cooking on it for many years to come.

We replaced an older 4-burner Frigidaire cooktop with this one. The new one has a much finer range of control on the amount of heat it delivers. People have complained about the height of the grates, but it is not an issue once you use it for a bit. The center burner does heat a pot of water very quickly. Simmer burner is very low and works great. Only issue is that the minimum install width does not give you room to get the brackets in easily if you have a thick countertop. Easy enough to rig a different connection though.

Everything I wrote in my review of this product on the Lowe's web site still applies - see my review dated 4/2/23 under the name of Cowboy Frankie. Now that I've used it for a few months, I like it even less. The burner covers are impossible to clean; the crackle finish stains easily (see photo) and the aluminum burner housing underneath discolors. Should have spent more on an induction cooktop.
