Cheap replacement - Read fine print

I had my dishwasher replaced. Read the fine print. Had I read the complete description of what they replaced, I would have taken the money instead of the replacement. They replaced what I had for this cheap no drying piece of crap. Who in there right mind wants a dishwasher that doesn't dry. This dishwasher is considerably smaller then what I had, even though the outer area is the same. The silverware basket doesn't even fit correctly in the tray. Probably doesn't belong with it.

it doesn't always actually turn on. So I have to go back and check. the racks are very strange with short tines ( for lack of a better word) these don't support my dishes and i have to lay them flat. Its just for my office so not terrible, but i don't recommend this machine. Plus the first 2 came in with damage. sheesh.

Dishwasher was installed less than a week ago. I was unfamiliar with the new drying technology -- where after rinsing, water drops on dishes are drawn to stainless steel sidewalls where they condense and slide down the walls into the drain -- instead of a heating coil at the bottom of the cabinet. I like the advantages of this new drying technology: less energy consumption, no melting of plastic dishware due to heating coil, and no steam venting out the top and front and warping the underside of a countertop. This technology only works and works well when the "water boost" setting is used.

Small Load Capacity

I didn't have much of a choice when the dishwasher that came with the house I bought stopped working. This ADA Dishwasher was the only one available to fit under the counter. It's not as deep as the previous one, but I really don't have a choice. I mean, it works fine, I just can't load it up with dishes and pots like my previous dishwasher.

I'm not a fan. The spikes for the plates are too short and close together. In actuality this dishwasher holds less than any other I have owned/used, partially because it's smaller but mostly because it was just designed badly. In a small dishwasher space counts. The bottom front left is wasted space because if you put anything there, it blocks the detergent door from opening. Also, we're real people with real plates, bowls, cups and glasses. This dishwasher was not really designed for real people and real life.

Dishwasher sucks ! No Drying

After working Monday thru Sunday I don't want to wash any dishes. So I put them in this dishwasher to wash and dry but I still have to hand dry all of my dishes. I would rather go back to my hundred dollar old school dishwasher old makes all of the noise and cleans my dishes just the same and actually has a heating oil at the bottom to ensure that all my dishes are fully dry

Top Spinner Problem

Replacement dishwasher

This was a replacement dishwasher because my warranty would not fix my older one. First the door is light and seems cheap. Second the lower rack has wasted space. This area may fit one small pan by or pot. So it goes unused. Third the top rack only hold a handful of cereal bowls and the rest glasses. Fourth on the 48 minute cycle it did not get the dishes clean so was forced to up it to 166 minute cycle. And during the drying cycle it does not dry the inside of the door.

Gave two stars because the dishwasher is very quiet and runs the cycle quickly. Did not give more stars because there is only two buttons to adjust the settings and the dishes come out very wet once completed. I put the dishes in the dish washer so that I don't have to do much work, I don't want to have to dry them when they are done.

The silverware container is not secured and thrashes around during the wash cycle. The silverware basket has this top that the openings are so small as to be unusable. The handle comes off the silverware basket when you lift it out. The drawers are difficult to pull out. It sounds like a 747 on take off- LOUD!!!! . The soap dispenser does not let the soap out of the dispenser. Ends up in the dispenser as a plastic lump.

This dishwasher is a little smaller than the standard, but it does a great job cleaning the dishes. Some reviews complain that it don't dry the dishes. It's true it doesn't have heated drying, but our dishes are always dry in the morning.

Once the appliance was tested after connecting, it ran quietly. After approximately 10-15 minutes into the cycle, the system abrubtly shut down. The water didn't drain and had to set until serviced. Haven't used it yet after having it for one month. So disappointed.

I am very disappointed with this GE product. The dishes never dry and often emerge with food still adherent. The bottom rack keeps coming off the track and it also is poorly constructed to accommodate larger cereal bowls. Customer service is very difficult to access and not very helpful.
