We had to wait for 4 weeks to get a manual. Your policy of not delivering manual with the range saves you how much per sale? The reheat control displaying which reheat by displaying RH plus a number based on the number of times I touch the panel is meaningless. Do you expect me to tape a reheat chart to the front to use reheat? The user panel is the users interface for using the device. Each user button should give the user the information to use the function without reading the manual again

We were replacing a GE XL Spacesaver microwave that lasted many years. This product appears to be solidly built and to work well. However, the controls are hard to press and not as convenient as our old microwave. There is no way to select the food and cook by weight. Also, the method for selecting the food to defrost is clunky. Why not simply press a number corresponding to the food rather than cycling through the list. This requires a lot more button presses and considering that the buttons are stiff, this is a bad thing.

Happy with product…my last one you just pressed numbers for however long you wanted item to heat and press start. This one you have to press cook time and then add time and then press start, just takes getting use to. I had my previous microwave over 10 years hope this lasts as well. Do wish the clock had a blue or green display rather than bright white, find it hard on the eyes.

4 month a later stops working

Thus was an upgrade option with our new home purchase. Sad to say 4 months and it completely stopped working. Bad thing is we used it maybe twice a day on a good day so we were very disappointed. Hoping we can get an appointment for repair or replacement soon

Operation Is a little noisy, door is very cheaply made (compared to older micro it replaced). This mid- priced model did have best overall ratings and a decent price. Usually go for GE brand for oven, micro, dishwashers.

Replaced old GE Microwave, old plate was correct dimentions, only had to drill new top holes. It is noisier than old one and control panel somewhat different. There is no defrost light so you have to pay attention when you use defrost.

This model is a basic work horse. No bells or whistles, but does what you need a standard microwave to do. We wish it had a bit more power - times are longer than the countertop model we had as a stand in. Basic design is good, though we keep thinking the door is fully shut when it isn't. Nothing in the manual about that, so the first time it wouldn't work when we hit 'start' and we got a beep and "FOOD" flashing on the display, we had no idea why. Luckily stumbled on the solution - closed the door again and made sure it was firm, and all was well.

I was unfortunate enough to have this microwave installed through a home warranty. It was never great but it did what it was suppose to do. A few months ago I started smelling plastic. GE won't cover it because I'm past the 1 year warranty. I've had microwaves last 10 years yet this one has failed in less than 2. I will never buy GE products again!

I understand that things change...I'm assuming GE needed to as well to keep up with market force$. I replaced a GE Spacemaker XL that served me well for 20 years (Magnatron finally failed)...This new microwave works fine...but it's the little diferences that I don't like. 1) the new mounting bracket is different than the old...why?...would have saved me 3 hours of installation. 2) the new touchpad buttons are truly hard to push...no soft touch here. 3) Noisy...When you hit the "Start button" the circuit closes for the magnetron...and you hear an audible "clunk" that was much quieter on previous models. 4) all the new microwaves stick out an additional inch more than the old models...No more room inside...but more of a protrusion externally.

Our old microwave started making worrisome noises so we decided it would be safer to get a new one. We needed an affordable one that would fit the specific space. After much research, we decided on a GE microwave. It was easy enough to install. The only negative is the door feels cheaply made. It does have a rotating plate which is a must. Just getting used to the different buttons.

Has everything my last unit had. Not as fancy but does the job. It would be great if GE would standardize the mount to be universal on all model. I have had 4 GE microwaves in the past and they all have a different mount. My wall behind the microwave is starting to look like Swiss cheese.

Microwave takes a lot of time to heat food items compared to the last one we had which lasted 17 years. Even when this microwave does heat the food, the center of the food is not as warm as the rest of the food and sometimes is even down right cold.
