nice oven and microwave, ripoff to buy sidebars

Just got delivery of the wall oven/microwave combo that I bought and had it installed about a month ago, as part of a kitchen renovation. . First thing my contractor noticed is that "side bars" of the oven are missing, leaving exposed screws, and making a look that is not matching the top and bottom bars. He checked the manual. The manual says these missing bars are "accessories". Come on Maytag, part of the oven is "an accessory"? We are talking about me spending thousands of dollars for this appliance, then encountering major hassles in discovering parts missing when the appliance is installed. Maytag says "seller" can "order these at customer cost". My seller "Best Buy" doesn't deal with these "parts" as they deal only with new appliances. I then went to an appliance parts place, and they couldn't believe Maytag would not include these bars as essential parts of their brand new oven. They said these were not "accessories" but part of the oven!!! The Parts company said to go back to Maytag. Maytag next said these parts are not available, that I should go to a parts supplier, and that these "parts" cost about $60 PLUS SHIPPING . Everyone in the industry I consulted says these two side bars are worth about $2.00 and Maytag doesn't provide them and makes a hassle for customer, running around between dealer, Maytag, and parts suppliers.. WHAT A DISAPPOINTING START TO MY EXPERIENCE WITH NEW MAYTAG APPLIANCES. I am not impressed so far and would not recommend Maytag to anyone if this is how they treat customers. They don't provide the complete oven, then can't supply parts to make it complete even though brand new, and Maytag service gives customers a total run around. Maytag Customer service, where are you???? Invisible or hiding? PS I bought my fridge and dishwasher also from Maytag, and now have serious reservations about this make. I am told everything from Maytag and various other appliance makes, now comes from the same factory, Maytag no longer supports its past reputation.
